Kees has a strong background in agribusiness, as a graduate from the Wageningen University and spent the early part of his career in assignments in the cotton industry, seed business and as an agribusiness consultant. Kees has a strong emerging markets focus, with over seven years spent in Africa (Kenya, Mali and Tanzania). Kees is a seasoned wholesale banker in the agribusiness sector having executed over 100 transactions in various jurisdictions and an experienced manager of small and large teams, from his banking positions, including an executive position at Rabobank. Kees also brings to EFAfrica Group a vast network in the Dutch and international agribusiness world as a result of 30 years’ passionate involvement in the sector.
